The weather threw everything at us, snow, rain, sleet, hail, wind, minus temperatures and then some sun.
Julie Baxter and Douglas Young fell instantly for the romance and idyllic West Coast setting of Lunga House. Everything was set, the open fires were blazing and candles flickered. Lunga staff were busy setting up tables, Carole Fitzgerald of Lazy Sunday was conjuring up culinary delights. Despite the weather throwing everything at us there was absolutely nothing that could spoil this day.
Even with the limitations imposed by the weather there were plenty of options for photographs. One idea I had was to ask Julie & Douglas to enter the ballroom with no other guests. There they were, alone, music playing, log fire burning, champagne, tray of entrees. I went outside and watched through the window, knowing that the light was soft, the sash windows would look romantic and more importantly Julie & Douglas would feel completely comfortable.
